It’s the force of life. We can’t live without it. It melts away the cold air, and loosens the tight grip of winter. Plants turn their head to face it instinctually, and so do we. It’s a sign of brighter days ahead, something we can always rely on, even in the darkest of nights.
I started the day by reading a bit about the sun and making notes while listening to some of my favorite podcasts about archetypes, the tarot, and of course, Jungian psychology. None of it was stuff I hadnt read before, yet the meanings that came up for me were still unexpected.
I didn’t feel like I understood the meaning of it, so I took the sun on a day out on the town. We went to the nursery, out to eat with my loves, and the rest of the day to spend in the garden.
At the end of the day, looking back, I know what the sun means now. It’s a sign to enjoy the day, for enjoyment sake. Bask in the sun, like your life depends on it. Turn your head to face it like the flowers do so easily.
🌞Extra grateful for the sun today 🌞
